Pick a vein and your pickaxe keeps working while you hunt, for up to 8 hours. Collect the ore, then cast bars at the Smelter: 10 ore and some fuel per bar (the fuel price grows with the region and your level). Bars go into pickaxe upgrades, Home furniture, weapon patinas or your guild's treasury.

Storm Quartz

A 0.4% chance per swing, in any vein. Gwangsu trades 6 of them for one Luck Ore, up to 3 times a week.

Moonsilver

Only turns up at night, between 22:00 and 5:00 (4% chance). Needed for the finest furniture and weapon patinas.

Luck Ore

Makes one upgrade at the blacksmith more likely to succeed.

Pickaxe

Upgrade your pickaxe in the Workshop with Nyang and bars, up to tier 6. Every tier makes your swings 6% faster and finds more Storm Quartz.
